Design inspiration

The story of Pieter begins in the mid 1970's in the Dutch city of Groningen.  Inspired by the architecture and canals of the city, Pieter set off on his design journey by studying interior design in Europe. 
After a successful career working in Den Haag, Malmö, Bern and Frankfurt, Pieter emigrated to Melbourne in early 2011. Pieter made the move to Melbourne's for it's renowned love of architecture, design and the built environment.  Pieter felt the city's design aesthetic was akin to that of the great designer city of Europe.
Pieter is very proud to give his name to this latest venture PVdH design, founded in Melbourne in 2020.

SIMON

Design consultant and procurement

Simon is a local of the Melbourne design scene. Having studied in Melbourne, he has a keen sense of the design aesthetic coveted by the locals.

Simon considers both design and functionality when guiding clients through the selection process.
